I don't remember a time when I wasn't reading and writing, unless it was before I could do either. Even then I was making up stories for my own amusement. Things may have changed since then, but I still make up stories for my own amusement. The only difference is that now I invite others into those stories, as passengers, spectators, or participants.

Myriad, of course, is ideal for this. People get from it exactly what they put into it; if they put no effort in, they will get nothing but acres of (often confusing) reading material. The more effort made to get involved, the juicier the results.

By now I've tracked mud across half a dozen storylines, if not more, and am a bit of a 'Killer Queen', having shown a readiness to kill off my own characters if it'd make a good story. The interactions have varied immensely, as have the characters - and the stories have ranged from trivial and amusing through to world-changing.

What can I say? Except they'll have to evict me with a shoehorn.
